CREATING OUR DESIGNS
Engineering
At PB Forged Wheels, we take great care in the manufacturing and assembly of each set of our custom forged wheels. We take pride in having complete control over the quality of our process, from start to finish. Every order undergoes thorough Finite Element Analysis (FEA) testing to guarantee the perfect combination of strength, durability, and lightweight design for our discerning customers.

CREATING THE STRONGEST FOUNDATION
Materials
Crafting forged wheels that are free of porosity is paramount at PB Forged Wheels. Similar to the world's leading aircraft manufacturers, we employ the same process to create superior performance. We utilise high pressure and temperature to transform the non-directional grain structure of aluminium into the multi-directional grain structure of forgings. The result? A lightweight, high-strength wheel with no welded joints and superior structural integrity. We use only the highest quality 6061 T6 alloy (& carbon fibre for our 2 piece carbon fibre wheel collection) to produce each PB Forged Wheel.

CONSTRUCTING FORGED WHEELS
Lathe
Lathe turning is a critical step in the manufacturing process. We carefully lathe-turn each raw forging to create a profile that maximises concavity, resulting in a wheel with a stunning and unique look. During this process over 70% of the original material is removed, utilising the most weight reduction possible without compromising on strength or durability. This ensures that our wheels not only look great but also provide superior performance.

CONSTRUCTING OUR WHEELS
Milling
Milling takes up to 8 hours per wheel to achieve precise results. After milling, each section undergoes filing, deburring, buffing, and polishing before it undergoes coating. Our craftsmen go through a detailed checklist to ensure that each wheel meets our strict quality standards

The finishing touches
Finishing
The finish stage is the highlight of our manufacturing process. Our premium finish line includes brushed or polished bases with transparent powder coats that highlight the beauty and details of the design. At PB Forged Wheels, we are continuously improving our methods to achieve the most striking finishes. You can choose from a range of Gloss, Satin, or Texture finishes for every component of the wheel.

Bringing designs to life
Assembly
During the assembly stage, ensuring balance and precision is crucial. We use Digital torque wrenches for accurate and controlled tightening of bolts. After torquing, each bolt and nut is marked and signed off by our skilled assemblers. We test each wheel for run-out, ensuring it falls within tolerances to prevent vibrations at high speeds.
