Sizing guide

For the RS6, the wheel decision is driven less by diameter and more by generation. Each chassis has its own proportions, offset and brake package, and a wheel that looks and fits right on one can look and fit wrong on another. Because every PB Forged set is made to order, we spec to your specific generation rather than offering a one-size-fits-all fitment.

C8 (2019-present), the current car. The C8 is the platform we know best; our gallery PBF 12 is a brushed-aluminium monoblock built for one. It runs 21" or 22", and the carbon ceramic brake package is the larger of the two options, we engineer to clear it without spacers. For most C8 owners the question is 21" (more compliant, daily-friendly) versus 22" (more presence), within a fitment we've already validated.

C7 (2013-2018). The C7 carries a different offset and clearance profile to the C8, close, but not interchangeable. We treat it as its own fitment, with lip-depth and offset options to suit the look you're after.

C5 and C6 (2002-2012), heritage. These are bespoke commissions rather than catalogue fitments. The brief is usually about respecting the era while delivering modern forged engineering, a conversation about proportion and finish as much as size.

2026 RS6 GT, the timely one. The GT shares much of its geometry with the C8 but carries its own bespoke OEM fitment. If you've a GT on order or delivered, it's worth talking to us early, we'd value validating fitment against a real car before building for the wider GT community.

Will these clear the RS6 carbon ceramic brakes?

Yes. The C8 RS6 carbon ceramic brake package is one of the larger brake setups in this segment, and we engineer every PB Forged wheel for the RS6 to clear it without spacers. Our PBF 12 build in the gallery is fitted to a C8 RS6, we've validated the geometry. If you're on a C7 with a different brake package or have aftermarket Stoptech / AP Racing brakes, send the spec at consultation and we'll re-validate clearance before forging.

Can you build for the 2026 RS6 GT?

Yes, the RS6 GT launched in May 2026 and we're actively researching fitment now. The geometry is closely related to the C8 RS6 (which we've built for, see the PBF 12 gallery build), but the GT carries specific bespoke OEM wheels and may have slightly different clearance and offset characteristics. If you have an RS6 GT order in or have taken delivery, enquire early, we'd value the chance to scan and validate fitment against a real car ahead of producing builds for the wider GT owner community.

I'm restoring a C5 or C6 RS6, do you make wheels for the older generations?

Yes. The C5 (2002-04) and C6 (2008-12) are both supported as bespoke commissions. The honest framing: these are heritage builds rather than catalogue products, we'd treat the design as a conversation about respecting the era while delivering modern forged engineering. Bring reference imagery and a clear direction at consultation.

21" vs 22" on an RS6, which is right for daily driving?

The RS6 is a performance estate first and a luxury car second, both sizes work but they trade differently. 21" is the more pragmatic daily choice: more sidewall, marginally better ride on UK roads, and the brake clearance is comfortable. 22" delivers more visual presence and matches the OEM upper-spec look but you give up a little ride compliance and tyre cost rises. For an Avant used as a real estate (school run, ski trips, longer-distance touring) we usually recommend 21". For more focused road or show builds, 22".

Where are PB Forged wheels manufactured?

Every PB Forged wheel is engineered in the UK, design, fitment validation, structural analysis and quality specification all happen in-house. The forging itself is routed to the partner facility best suited to the specific project: UK, US, or Taiwan, depending on construction complexity, finish requirements, and the tolerances the build demands. The routing decision is part of the engineering brief, each commission goes to the manufacturer that will deliver the best wheel for that build, not a default supply chain.

How long is the lead time?

Our wheels are made to order, with a typical lead time of 6 to 8 weeks from order confirmation to delivery. This isn't pulled-from-stock, each set is forged, finished and inspected specifically for your car. The window covers engineering review (we validate fitment for your exact chassis and brake setup), forging, finishing in your chosen specification, and final UK quality control before despatch. If you have a fixed deadline (car show, event, build deadline), tell us at the consultation stage and we'll confirm whether the window can compress.
