Lotus Emira Forged Wheels

The Lotus Emira is the British sports car Lotus put real engineering behind, and the forged-wheel brief reflects that. Unsprung mass matters here more than on almost any other road car we build for, the Emira is engineered around it, and the wheel has to follow.

We build for both the i4 and V6 variants of the Emira. Most of what we take on is clean, lightweight monoblock construction designed to lower unsprung mass against the OEM option, with brake clearance validated for the standard and the V6 packages.

How much weight saving can you achieve versus the OEM Emira wheel?
Depends on the spec, but a properly forged monoblock typically saves 1.5 to 2.5 kg per corner against the OEM cast option. On a car as weight-sensitive as the Emira, that's meaningful.
What construction suits the Emira best?
Monoblock, almost always. The Emira's proportions and the engineering brief both reward a clean, single-piece wheel. Multi-piece sets work but add unsprung mass we'd rather not put on the car.
How long is the lead time?
Our wheels are made to order, with a typical lead time of 6 to 8 weeks from order confirmation to delivery.
