Warranty

Every set of PB Forged wheels is covered by a lifetime structural warranty against manufacturing defects, for as long as you own the wheels.

That is not marketing language. A forged wheel is machined from a single billet of 6061-T6 aluminium with no welds, no joins and no cast porosity. If a wheel of that construction fails structurally in normal road use, it was a manufacturing fault, and we will replace it.

What is covered

Structural integrity, for life, to the original owner

Cracking, splitting or deformation of the wheel caused by a defect in the forging, the machining or the heat treatment. If a wheel fails structurally under normal road use, we replace it.

Finish, for two years from delivery

Peeling, blistering, lifting or clear coat failure caused by a defect in the application of the finish.

Fitment, where we specified and confirmed it

If we specified the offset, bore, bolt pattern and clearances based on accurate information and the wheels do not fit the vehicle as confirmed, we remake them at our cost. The full terms of that are in our terms of service.

What is not covered

• Kerb damage, potholes, accidents or any impact
• Corrosion from road salt, brake dust or chemical wheel cleaners left on the surface
• Damage from improper installation, including incorrect torque, the wrong hardware or an ill-fitting spacer
• Damage from track or competition use, including timed events and trackdays
• Damage from running a tyre at incorrect pressure or a tyre outside our recommended size range
• Any wheel that has been refinished, repaired, re-drilled, machined or modified by anyone other than PB Forged
• Normal wear, including stone chips, light scratches and gradual dulling of a polished face
• Wheels sold on to a second owner, for the structural warranty. Finish cover ends at resale too.

How to make a claim

Email info@pbforgedwheels.com with:

1. Your order number
2. Clear photographs of the wheel, including the affected area and the back face
3. Current mileage and how the wheels have been used
4. A description of what happened and when you first noticed it

We will respond within three working days. If we need the wheel back to assess it, we will arrange and pay for collection on structural claims. For finish claims we will tell you before collection who covers the shipping.

If the claim is accepted we will remake the wheel to the original specification. If that specification is no longer available we will offer the closest equivalent or a refund of the price paid for that wheel.

Keeping the warranty valid

Three things, none of them onerous:

• Torque the wheels to your vehicle manufacturer's specification, and re-torque after the first 50 miles
• Wash with pH neutral car shampoo. Do not use acidic or alkaline wheel cleaners, and do not leave any cleaner to dry on the surface
• Keep your order confirmation. It is your proof of purchase and of the original specification
