Mercedes-AMG C63 Forged Wheels

The Mercedes-AMG C63 is one of the most-built AMGs in the UK, and it's a car with a clear identity across three modern generations. The current W206, the V8 W205, and the W204 that established the character, each has its own following and its own forged-wheel brief.

We build for all three, in Saloon, Estate and Coupe configurations, with the brake clearance and offset specified to the variant. The C63's brake package is among the more demanding in the segment, particularly on the S and Edition cars, and the forged set is engineered around it.

Will they fit your Mercedes-AMG C63?

On a C63 the offset is the whole conversation, because the factory numbers are unusually high and they are high for a reason. Every PB Forged set is made to order, so we work the offset against your actual brake package rather than a generic figure.

Fitment. 5x112 on a 66.6mm centre bore, M14x1.5. W205 runs 19x9.5J at ET54 to ET56 front and 20x10.5J at ET50 to ET57 rear. W206 runs 19x9.5J and 20x9.5J. W204 runs 18 and 19 inch at lower offsets.

W205, the one most people are building for. ET54 at the front exists because the wheel has to clear a 390mm front brake. Drop the offset to make a catalogue wheel sit flush and it fouls the caliper. There is no spacer fix for that, because a spacer moves the wheel the wrong way for clearance.

W206 and W204. The W206 runs a narrower track and lower diameters than the V8 cars. The W204 is the loosest on clearance and the easiest to build for, so it is where the widest design range is available.

Frequently asked

Do you build for the new four-cylinder W206 as well as the V8 W205?

Yes. The current W206 hybrid four-cylinder C63 has a different load profile and brake package to the V8 W205, and we engineer the set to suit. Most of what we build is still for the W205, but the new car is well supported.

Will these clear the C63 S brake package?

Yes. The S brake setup, including the optional ceramic upgrade on later cars, is one we engineer for as standard, with clearance validated against your configuration.

Why are the W205 offsets so high, and can I lower them for a flush look?

The W205 runs ET54 to ET56 at the front and up to ET57 at the rear because the wheel has to clear a 390mm front brake. Lowering the offset to sit flush moves the spoke face inwards towards the caliper, which is the opposite of what you need. There is no spacer fix either, because a spacer changes the outer position without giving you inner clearance. We work the offset against your actual brake package instead of against a target gap.

Will E63 or S-Class wheels fit a C63?

They share 5x112 and a 66.6mm bore so they bolt on correctly, which makes them a real option. The problem is dimensional: a W213 E63 is 9.5J ET25 front and 10J ET55 rear against the C63's much higher front offset, so the car sits wrong at the front. Pattern compatibility across the Mercedes range is genuine, and it is also how most of these mistakes happen.

What does the C63 run from the factory?

The W205 runs 19x9.5J at ET54 to ET56 front and 20x10.5J at ET50 to ET57 rear. The W206 runs 19x9.5J and 20x9.5J. The W204 is the loosest on clearance at 18 and 19 inch with lower offsets, which is why it takes the widest range of designs.
