Land Rover Defender L316 Forged Wheels

Forged wheels built for the classic Land Rover Defender L316, 1990 to 2016, in 18 inch and 20 inch. 90, 110 and 130. Every set is machined to this car's own fitment, so there are no spacers and no adapters.

Eighteen and twenty are the two sizes the styled classic Defender market runs, so they are the two we build. Nothing about this car's hardware is shared with the new Defender either. The L316 is 5x165.1 on a 114.3mm bore with M16 nuts, where the L663 is 5x120 on 72.6mm with M14. They are different vehicles that happen to share a name, and a wheel from one will not go anywhere near the other.

5x165.1, 114.3mm centre bore machined to the hub, lug nuts M16 x 1.5. Torque is published as a range, 100 to 170Nm depending on wheel type, and is confirmed per build. Factory size 16 inch.

Built to carry a 90, 110 or 130 at its plated weight. Tell us the variant and your typical load when you order and the rating is stated on the fitment sheet.

Frequently Asked Questions

No, and not close. The L663 is 5x120 on a 72.6mm bore with M14 bolts. The L316 is 5x165.1 on a 114.3mm bore with M16 nuts. They share a name and nothing else at the hub.

It depends what the car is for. On a styled Defender, 18 and 20 inch is where the market sits and the car carries it. If yours is used off road or loaded, the sidewall you lose matters and 16 or 17 inch is the honest answer. Tell us how the car is used and we will say so plainly.

Because Land Rover published a range for this car, 100 to 170Nm, depending on the wheel type fitted. Your fitment sheet carries the correct figure for the set we build, rather than a number copied off another model.

Yes. The 90, 110 and 130 all share the hub. The load rating is set to your variant.
